If you ware wondering what happened to tonight’s math homework, the answer is that it is sitting in your child’s mailbox. Oops! The plan was for the children to learn the location of their mailbox and mailbox procedures today and then get that one paper out of their folder to pack up before going to their lockers. Since that was the new procedure, that was the one that got rushed at the end of the day and was forgotten. So when your child says, “I don’t know what the math homework paper is and I didn’t get one”, believe him or her. We will work on this tomorrow morning in class and check it together and we’ll take care of learning mailbox procedures early so we’re not rushed, too!

Welcome Back to a New School Year!
Welcome back to school everyone! I am excited to have a class full of eager second graders! It was so nice to meet everyone at “Meet the Teacher Night” last week. Thank you all for coming! We have had a great start to our 2011-2012 school year. We are beginning to settle in and get used to new routines. There are several new faces this year at school – both students and staff members.
