Dear Parents: We’d Love to Hear from You!

Parent Book Reviews 3 Comments

OK, parents.  Now it’s your turn.  The students of Central School have shared an abundance of ideas about really good books for kids.  How about sharing your favorite books that you read as a kid?  When I think of my childhood reading experiences, I think of adventures galore and my imagination working double overtime.   I loved to read historical fiction, science fiction and fantasies.  How about you?  Please take a minute and tell the reading fanatics at Central School about your most memorable stories, authors, or series.  If you can’t think of any specific titles that you read as a child, how about books that you’ve read with your kids.  Either way, the readers of Central would love to hear from you. :D

“When I look back over the past eighty years for times of greatest pleasure and enjoyment, it is possible to remember only a few such experiences that didn’t involve other people. Reading is one exception, of course, but much of the satisfaction of these quietest of times is the later sharing of ideas and discoveries with others. This applies to almost anything I’ve learned from newspapers, magazines, and books, which seems to be greatly enriched when I discuss the subject with Rosalynn or one of my friends.”
~Jimmy Carter~
