Procedures and Homework Assignments for 10/21/08

HS 1o

Objectives:      Students will be able to 1) read Chinese calendar, 2) know official holidays in China/Taiwan, and 3) acquire knowledge about Chinese traditional festivals.

Procedure:         

  1. 1) Quiz part II. 

      2) Return skit rubric for lesson one.

2.   1) Read textbook pages 12-15 after you turn in your quiz paper.

      2) Complete reading packet “Geography of China”

           

H/W: 1) Read Chinese calligraphy before Friday.  2) Preview textbook Lesson two.   

 

HS 2o/9o 

Objective: Review and prepared students for the quiz today.

Procedure:

  1. Go over all stroke orders for math operators.
  2. Quiz #5 Part II.
  3. Complete reading packet. “Geography of China”, if time permits.

 

H/W: Preview Lesson Two. 

 

MS 3o/5o

Objectives: Students will be able to perform a skit with at least 7 terms.

Procedure:

  1. Finish the video (5o only).
  2. Go over the reading packet (“China”).
  3. Review all 14 basic greetings terms. 
  4. Pair practice/Quiz on each other. 
  5. Skit (use at least 7 terms).
  6. Pass out the handout for numbers.

 

H/W: Review for quiz tomorrow.
