Procedures and Homework Assignments for 10/28/08

Procedure for HS 1P (10/28/08)

 

Objective: Students will 1) use action words to describe what they are doing and 2) tell time.

Procedure:

      1.      1) Turn in your H/W.  2) Return all papers.    

      3) Quiz this Thursday (10/30) on Lesson 2 (Part I).

      4) Turn in any late work by the end of Thursday for grades.

2.      Try on dry erase board: 1) telling time, 2) characters.

3.      Learn more action vocabulary (paint, book, write, word, tea).

4.      Write the third slip (action word) for activity tomorrow. 

 

H/W: 1) Write new vocabulary, one row each.  2) Read textbook pages 16-18.

 

Procedure for HS 2P/9P (10/28/08)

 

Objective: 1) Students will be able to discriminate back nasal sounds.  2) Students will learn characters for basic greeting sentence patterns.

Procedure:

1.      1) Turn in your H/W (2P only). 2) Return all papers.   

      2) Quiz this Thursday on Lesson 2 Part I (nasal sounds, characters).    

      3) Turn in any late work by the end of Thursday for grades.  

2.      Practice on dry erase board (sounds and characters).

3.      Finish up “Back Nasal Sounds” handout.

4.   Model more characters (2P only).

5.   Read textbook pages 7-8.

 

H/W: 1) Write new characters, one row each.  2) Read the reading packet.  3) Practice discriminating the back nasal sounds.

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P (10/28/08)

 

Objectives: Students will be able to describe how old they are.

Procedure:

1.      1) Turn in any slips that require parent signature.  2) Quiz tomorrow (numbers, Chinese characters). 

2.      Review four terms from yesterday (month, day, year, birth, possessive particle)

3.      Explain/Construct/Write sentences (I am…, My birthday is on … year ,,month … day).

4.      Activity (multiple game).

 

H/W: Review all 24 terms for tomorrow.
