Procedures and Homework Assignments for 12/15/08

Procedure for HS 1P (12/15/08)

Objective: Students will review/write all sample questions to prepare themselves for the quiz tomorrow.

H/W: Study for quiz tomorrow and work on oral presentation.

Procedure:

1. 1) Check and go over workbook section I on page 25. 2) Take one set of field trip permission slip and an oral presentation rubric. Turn in the permission slip before this Friday w/money. Ask for chaperon medical form, if interested.

2. Draw a number for your oral presentation order. Any volunteers to be on Wednesday?

3. Pass out / Review study guide (sample questions for tomorrow—Writing Section III: workbook section E). Special characters (, , 毛筆, 書包, 剪刀, 車子, , 風箏, 足球 for 新的 / 舊的 / 破的 / 壞的).

Procedure for HS 2P/9P (12/15/08)

Objective: Students will demonstrate their mastery of lesson 5 in the quiz.

H/W: practice Review Sounds #2 for oral quiz on Wednesday and Thursday.

Procedure:

1. Turn in your art project.

2. 1) Go over key to workbook section I on page 31. Questions? 2) Draw a number for your oral quiz.

3. Quiz.

4. Pass out/go over the field trip permission slip and lunch menu.

Procedure for MS 3P/5P (12/15/08)

Objectives: Students will take a quiz on numbers and start a new unit on family members.

H/W: Make 5 index cards (years-old, # people/person, have/has, and, Family/house/home)

Procedure:

1. Quick review on all 12 terms (numbers, characters).

2. Quiz.

3. Teach 5 new terms. Pair practice. Take notes.

4. Monday sharing.

5. Tangram pieces puzzle (make one square).
