Procedures and Homework Assignments for 1/9/09

Procedure for HS 1P (1/9/09)

Objectives: 1) Students will finish 2nd set of 5 sentences of their writing exam. 2) Students will continue Lesson 3.

H/W: 1) Field Trip Questions slip. 2) Write one row for each new character. 3) 5 sentences.

Procedure:

1. Take one copy of Field Trip Questions. Go over itinerary, your chaperon, and Field Trip Questions slip.

2. Model new characters (, , , , ).

3. Read Lesson 3 page 32.

4. Work on your 5 sentences.

Procedure for HS 2P/9P (1/9/09)

Objectives: 1) Students will review sentence patterns. 3) Students will continue Lesson 6.

H/W: 1) Field Trip Questions slip. 2) Practice writing sentence pattern.

Procedure:

  1. Take one copy of Field Trip Questions. Go over itinerary, chaperon, & Field Trip Questions slip.
  2. Model new character (, , ).
  3. Read textbook pages 47, 44-45.
  4. Review sample sentence patterns. Write down sentence patterns for your own record and your reference.

Procedure for MS 3P/5P (1/9/09)

Objectives: Students will gain knowledge about China’s one child policy and its impact through viewing a documentary DVD.

H/W: Review all 11 colors, date and supplementary terms.

Procedure:

1. Quiz on 1/12/09 for colors, date terms, supplementary terms (, ).

2. Watch DVD “China’s Lost Girls”.
