Procedure for HS 1P (2/5/09)

Objective: Students will continue to learn colors and types of clothes in this lesson.

功課: 1)生字一行. 2) Study text for skit content.

Procedure:

1. 1) Turn in your H/W. 2) Turn in your slip with partner names

4. Dictation. Try on dry erase board.

Procedure for HS 2P/9P (2/5/09)

Objective: Students will solidify their fluency of descriptive words and terms about pets through various learning activities.

H/W: 生字一行 (for 2P only).

Procedure:

1. 1) Turn in your H/W. 2) Return all papers. 3) Continue the scheduling consultation.

4. Model new characters (鳥, 都, 跑).  (2P only)

Procedure for MS 3P/5P (2/5/09)

Objectives: Students will finish up unit 2 and learn the general Chinese counting principle.

H/W: Memorize numbers 7-10, 100 and zero. 2) Practice counting in various ways.

Procedure:

1. Informal assessment (numbers 1-6). Writing Chinese characters on board and counting from any number to loop the cycle.

2. Teach new terms (numbers 7-10, 100, and 0)—pinyin, meaning and characters. Take notes. Pair practice.

3. Show and Tell –Chinese publications. Explain Chinese counting principle. Count numbers from 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, etc.

4. Cheerios time! Practice chopsticks.
