Procedures and Homework Assignments for 2/12/09

Procedure for HS 1P (2/12/09)

Objectives: Students will be reviewing all the terms they have learned through various activities (listening, matching, etc).

功課: 1) Finish up WB pages 30/34 (Writing Sentences). (2) 生字一行

Procedure:

1. 1) Turn in your 生字功課. 2) Check your WB page 35.

2. Model new characters (, , , ).

3. Listening to CD. Workbook pages 29/Section A, 30/Section B, 34/Section F, 36/Section H.

4. Go over the answer key to WB pages.

Procedure for HS 2P/9P (2/12/09)

Objectives: Students will review lesson 7 quiz through working on sample questions.

H/W: 1) Review for quiz tomorrow. 2) 生字一行

Procedure:

1. Model supplementary characters (, , ).

2. Matching activity. (動物 => animals). Textbook is allowed for zodiac animals.

3. Working on sample quiz questions (writing part—1) What family members do you have? 2) What pets does your family have? 3) There are # people in my family. 4) I have <father, mother and siblings.>. 5) My father is <years old>. 6) Her bird is very cute. 7) This cat is really fierce).

Procedure for MS 3P/5P (2/12/09)

Objective: Students will start writing sentences for their oral presentation.

H/W: Make 11 flash cards.

Procedure:

1. Quiz #3 due next Tuesday.

2. Informal assessment on all 13 terms.

3. Check your 4 products (2 paper-cutting and 2 origami) for participation grades.

4. Pass out 22 color strips for unit #4.

5. Teaching/Writing 4 sentence patterns.
