Procedures and Homework Assignments for 2/17/09

Procedure for HS 1P (2/17/09)

Objective: 1) Students will review sentence patterns in this lesson. 2) Students will work in pairs on their skit.

功課: Practice your skit.

Procedure:

1. 1) Take one lesson 4 skit rubric. 2) Skit tomorrow. 3) Lesson 4 quiz this Friday.

2. Tuesday sharing.

3. Continue our sentence patterns. 1) (… 起來). 2) (should). 3) 那麼 (then). 4) 怎麼樣 (how about)? 5) (rather, very). 6) (match, go with). 7) 怎麼知道 (how do .. know). 8) Verb (have/has Verb => 聽到 / 看到 / 吃到 / 找到). 9) 怎麼回事?

4.   Work on / Practice with your partner.

Procedure for HS 2P/9P (2/17/09)

Objective: Students will start lesson 8 and learn to express their nationality and their language proficiency.

功課: 生字一行

Procedure:

  1. 1) Take one handout (lesson 8 character list). 2) Finish your makeup test by the end of today.
  2. Tuesday sharing.
  3. Feel comfortable with your paragraph? Final version yet?
  4. Learn new characters (, , , , ).

Procedure for MS 3P/5P (2/17/09)

Objective: 1) Students will start unit #4 today. 2) Students will continue to build sentences for their oral presentation.

H/W: Memorize 5 colors (black, white, green, blue, and red).

Procedure:

1. Quiz #4 next Monday (2/23/09)

2. Quick review before quiz #3.

3. Quiz.

4. Tuesday sharing.

5. Teach new terms (black, white, green, blue, and red).

6. Showcase art projects.
