Procedures for HS 1P (2/10/09)

Objectives: 1) Students will read text page 43 fluently. 2) Students will continue to learn terms describing how clothes fit.

功課: ) 生字一行. 2) Read text page 43. Will randomly draw students to read in class.


  1. 1) Turn in your character H/W. 2) Ms. Chang is not available this afternoon due to a staff meeting at 2:30.
  2. Continue yesterday’s handout “Level2 Lesson4 Supplementary Material.”
  3. Model new characters (, , , )
  4. Read text pages 43/46 as a class.

Procedure for HS 2P/9P (2/10/09)

Objective: 1) Students will finish up their oral quiz today. 2) Students will work on workbook pages to get ready for quiz on this Friday.

功課: Review for quiz this Friday (textbook pages 54-65).


  1. 1) Turn in your paragraph. 2) Check your WB H/W.
  2. Finish up oral quiz. / Check the answer to the questions. Listen to CD (workbook page 43 Section B/page 44 Section E).
  3. Read textbook pages 57-58 as a class (2P only).
  4. Go over handout sample sentence substitution (2P only).

Procedure for MS 3P/5P (2/10/09)

Objective: Students will finish up learning all terms needed for unit #3 (family).

H/W: 1) Memorize all 7 supplementary terms.  2) Bring in a reader or some work for tomorrow when Ms. Chang reteach.


1.  Informal assessment.

2.  Teach new terms (jia, you, # ge ren, he, # sui, de, liang).  Take notes.  Pair practice.

3.  Cutting 2 paper patterns (double happiness, longevity).
