Procedures and Homework Assignments for 2/13/09

Procedure for HS 1P (2/13/09)

Objective: 1) Students will review terms for lesson 4. 2) Students will get familiar with sentence patters presented in this lesson.

H/W: 1) Work on your skit over the weekend. 2) Study sentence patterns (text pages 48-50) for lesson 4 quiz on 2/20/09. 3) 生字一行.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Check your WB pages. 2) Lesson 4 quiz postpones to Friday (2/20). 3) Missed work (oral quiz, homework assignments?) => Talk to Ms. Chang.
  2. Matching activity. Notes: 1) ignore pieces for 帽子, 太肥了, 太瘦了. 2) 連衣裙 = 洋裝; 汗衫 is used to replace T but they are not really equivalent.
  3. Model new characters (, , ).
  4. Go over sentence patterns on pages 1) (… 起來). e.g., 那件洋裝看起來很漂亮; 這件恤穿起來很舒服.

Objective: Students will show their mastery of lesson 7.

Procedure for MS 3P/5P (2/13/09)

Objective: Students will gain knowledge about the Great Wall of China.

H/W: study for your quiz on next Tuesday.

Procedure:

1. 1) Check any missed work? 2) Quiz #3 next Tuesday. 3) Check your H/W (flash cards).

2. Movie viewing.
