Procedure for HS 1P (2/9/09)

Objective: 1) Students will continue learning terms about clothes. 2) Students will summarize all terms they need for their skit.

Procedure:

1. 1) Resources available (Everyday Chinese; China Link—CD/script). 2) Turn in your H/W and take one square paper and one handout. 3) Return all papers.

2. Monday sharing.

3. Go over today’s handout “Level2 Lesson4 Supplementary Material.”

4. Model new characters (, , , ).

Procedure for HS 2P/9P (2/9/09)

Objective: Students will show their mastery of speaking and reading skills on lesson seven passages.

功課: workbook p. 42 (section A), p. 44 (section D), p. 45 (section F), p. 46-47 (sections G-H), if not completed in class.

Procedure:

1. 1) Your paragraph due tomorrow. 2) Lesson 7 quiz this Friday.

2. Review Lesson 7 text before oral quiz.

3. Oral quiz. Work on workbook pages (details as above) while your classmate takes the quiz. Use your time wisely and effectively.

Procedure for MS 3P/5P (2/9/09)

Objective: 1) Students start unit #3 Family today.  2) Students will show their mastery of numbers today by counting and taking the quiz.

H/W:  1) Bring in your scissors for tomorrow.  2) Memorize all six terms learned today in class.

Procedure:

1.  Quick review before quiz.

2.  Count from 0 – 100.

3.  Quiz.

4.  Monday sharing.

5.  Teach new terms (father, mother, older brother/sister, younger brother/sister).

6.  Tangram pieces.
