Procedures and Homework Assignments for 3/11/09

Procedure for HS 1P (3/11/09)

Objective: Students will practice speaking skill in a shopping presentation.

功課: N/A.

Procedure:

1. 1) Turn in your character H/S. Take one copy of measure words. 2) Check this out: Lychee (荔枝).

2. Presentation (4 students for each list, each one says an item).

3. Read text page 55.

Procedure for HS 2P/9P (3/11/09)

Objective: 1) Students will learn different sports terms today. 2) Students will practice speaking skill in a sports survey activity.

功課: 生字一行.

Procedure:

1. Dictation.Write on dry erase board.

2. Learn new characters (, , , , )—2P; (, , , , )—9P.

3.   Sports survey activity.

Procedure for MS 3P/5P (3/11/09)

Objectives: 1) Students will apply the learned terms to a skit and present the skit to the classmates. 2) Students will continue to learn basic Chinese greetings.

H/W: Review all learned terms.

Procedure:

  1. Collect signature slip and Student Inventory, if any.
  2. Informal assessment. Pass out class list (5P only).
  3. Teach terms (Thank you, You’re welcome, I’m sorry/Excuse me, That’s all right). Take notes. Pair practice.
  4. Compose a skit and write down the skit. Present your skit.
