2. Video Clipping/Question list for guest speaker.
3. Learn new characters (圖, 典, 雜, 誌, 報, 紙).
4. Read text pages 55-57.
Procedure for HS 2P/9P (3/12/09)
Objective: Students will practice speaking skill in a sports survey activity.
功課: Practice all 8 sports terms over this weekend (sounds, meanings, & characters).
Procedure:
1. Etiquette for our guest speaker, Dr. McAloon
2. View Video Clippings from OSU /Question list for guest speaker.
3. PowerPoint presentation–9P only. / Group sharing.
4. Charades.
5. Learn new characters (乒, 乓).
Procedure for MS 3P/5P (3/12/09)
Objectives: 1) Students will finish basic Chinese greetings. 2) Students will present their skit.
H/W: Review all 11 terms for unit #1 quiz next Monday (3/16).
Procedure:
- Informal assessment.
- Teach terms (Zao An, Zao, Ni Zao, Wu An, Wang An). Take notes. Pair practice.
- Skit—5P only.
- Video viewing (Chinese New Year celebration).
- Culture reading (Guessing Fist Game).
- Showcase Chinese artifacts.
