Procedures and Homework Assignments for 4/2/09

Procedure for HS 1P (4/2/09)

Objective: Students will demonstrate their oral fluency in Lesson 5 text passages through the Audacity recording.

功課: Study Lesson 5 for quiz tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. Draw two sticks for the passages to record.
  2. Turn in your permission slip.
  3. Need any Audacity Instruction sheet? Need Lesson 5 text passage sheet? Talk to Ms. Chang.—No textbook is used while you record. Check your own recording before you submit.
  4. If you’re done, try the websites specified by Ms. Chang. No other websites are allowed!

Procedure for HS 2P/9P (4/2/09)

Objective: Students will demonstrate their oral fluency in Lesson 9 text passages through the Audacity recording.

功課: Crossword puzzle due tomorrow.

Procedure:

1. Draw one stick for the passage to record. Either (1 and 2) or (1 and 3).

2. Turn in your permission slip.

3. Need any Audacity Instruction sheet? Need Lesson 9 text passage sheet?—No textbook is used while you record. Check your own recording before you submit.

4. If you’re done, try the websites specified by Ms. Chang. No other websites are allowed!

Procedure for MS 3P/5P (4/2/09)

Objective: Students will start unit #4 colors today.

H/W: Memorize 4 colors (red, black, white, purple).

Procedure:

1. (3P) 1) Return your 2nd draft and quiz #3 papers. 2) Unit #4 quiz on next Tuesday (4/7/09).

2. (5P) 1) Glue your blue colored strip. 2) Turn in any makeup work? (flash cards, origami products, quiz). 3) Unit #4 quiz on next Tuesday (4/7/09).

3. Teach new terms (red, black, white, purple). Take notes. Pair practice. Practice reading your oral presentation draft twice with your partner.

4. (3P only) Cultural reading.

5. (3P only) VHS viewing “The Chinese Word for Horse.”

6. (5P only) Pass out Sports handout. Teach new terms.
