Procedure for HS 1P (4/3/09)

Objective: Students will demonstrate their mastery of Lesson 5 materials in the quiz today.

1. 1) Turn in your permission slip. 2) Sign the card for Dana.

2. Quick review before the quiz.

3. Quiz.

Procedure for HS 2P/9P (4/3/09)

Objective: Students will start learn new vocabulary in Lesson 10.

Procedure:

1.  1)Turn in your puzzle H/W. 2) Take one set of Lesson 10 character list. 3) Turn in your permission slip. 4) Some students talk to Ms. Chang about the Audacity recording result. 4) Pass back your papers (quiz and audacity) for reviewing purpose.

2.   Browse through lesson 10 for new sentence patterns, new vocabulary.

3.   Learn new characters (, , , , ).

4.   Song time (Where’s My Friend).

Procedure for MS 3P/5P (4/3/09)

Objectives: 1) Students will be able to 2) Students will continue to learn new terms in unit #4.

H/W: Memorize 6 colors.

Procedure:

1. 1) Informal assessment. 2) Makeup work? 3) Unit #4 quiz on next Tuesday (4/7).

2. Teach new terms (pink, orange, purple, brown, grey, yellow).

3. Cultural reading: 1) cook books to share. 2) Chinese food/Seasoning and Utensils—5P only.

4. (3P only) Eric teaches origami: crane.

5. (5P only) Finish up VHS viewing: “The Chinese Character for Horse.”
