Procedure for HS 1P (4/21/09)

Objectives: 1) Students will continue to learn new terms in lesson 6. 2) Students will practice writing dialogues for inviting people, responding to the invitation, and inquiring of availability.

  1. 1) Turn in your character H/W. 2) Lesson 6 Audacity recording on 4/30, Lesson 6 quiz on 5/1, and skit on 5/4.
  2. Dictation.

  4. Pair activity (1) Inviting someone for doing something. (2) Responding to the invitation. (3) Asking about availability on certain day.

Procedure for HS 2P/9P (4/21/09)

Objectives: 1) Students will continue to learn new terms in lesson 10. 2) Students will retain their new terms through a song-singing activity.

Procedure:

1. 1) Turin in your characters H/W. 2) Lesson 10 art project due on 4/29, Audacity recording on 4/30, and quiz on 5/1. Art project: draw a picture of you with description of all physical features—head, hair, eyes, eyebrows, nose, mouth, ears, hands, feet, etc). The writing part can be used for your PowerPoint presentation in late May.

Objectives: 1) Students will continue to showcase their Chinese ability through an oral presentation today. 2) Students will complete their art project by tomorrow.

H/W: Review your oral presentation for tomorrow, if yours is not done yet.
