Procedures and Homework Assignments for 4/27/09

Procedure for HS 1P (4/27/09)

Objectives: 1) Students will practice their speaking skill through Monday Sharing routine. 2) Students will continue to learn/review new terms in lesson 6.

功課: 1) 生字一行 2) Work book page 50/Section D.

Procedure:

1) Audacity on 4/30, lesson 6 quiz on 5/1 (?) and skit on 5/4 (Audacity and/or quiz grades may not be counted into Interim report). 2) Take one copy of Lesson 6 Supplementary Material handout.

  1. Monday sharing.
  2. Learn new characters (, , , , , , ).
  3. Read Lesson 6 passages to refresh memory (textbook pages 70-73).

Procedure for HS 2P/9P (4/27/09)

Objectives: 1) Students will practice their speaking skill through Monday Sharing routine.

2) Students will review sentence patterns/terms in lesson 10.

功課:

Procedure:

1. 1) Art project due on 4/29, audacity on 4/30, and lesson 10 quiz on 5/1 (Audacity and/or quiz grades may not be counted into Interim report).

2. Monday sharing.

3. Dictation / Practice writing previously learned characters.

4. (2P only) Group activity (5-6 students introduce yourself w/slip and find out who are in the same class).

5. Read Lesson 10 passages to refresh memory (pages 85-87).

6. (9P only) Matching activity.


Procedure for MS 5P (4/27/09)

Objectives: 1) Students will know their classmates and their teacher; teacher will know her students. 2) Students will learn grading policy and expectations.

H/W: 1) Signature slip. 2) Student Inventory.

Procedure:

1. Pass out Class List.  Students sit on their assigned seat.

2. Pass out/Go over Grading Policy and Classroom Rules.

3. Self-introduction.

4. Pass out/Go over Student Inventory as H/W tonight.
