Procedure for HS 1P (5/14/09)

Objectives: 1) Students will start their skit preparation. 2) Students will practice reading text passages.

H/W: 1) Practice reading all text passage. 2) Workbook pages 60/61.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Ms. Chang checks your WB pages. 2) All seniors return Chinese I/II book(s) on/before 5/22. 3) Return all papers.
  2. Dictation.
  3. Listen to CD for WB page 56. Check the key.
  4. Read text passages to a partner.

3. Brainstorm session (why heads?). Different categories of food (seafood, Tofu, meat, vegetables, ….etc). Browse through Chinese cook book for preferences/ideas of Chinese food.

4. Pass out your own pair of chopsticks and practice using/holding chopsticks to pick up food items, if time allows. Relay game this Friday.
