Procedures and Homework Assignments for 5/28/09

Procedure for HS 1P (5/28/09)

 

Objective: 1) Students will continue to present their Lesson6+Lesson 7 skit today.  2) Students will start reviewing final exam.     

H/W: Sample questions.  It is due next Monday (count for grades).    

Procedure:

1.      1)   Take one copy of Final Exam Writing Section Sample Questions.  Make sure you have the handout for Lesson 12 sentence patterns. 

2)      All missed work has to be made up by the end of this week.  No more makeup work is accepted next week.  (Kevin, Christina, Tyler).    

3)      Final exam writing section is on next Wednesday, June 3.

2.      Skit time (Louisa/Marissa).

3.      Class work: 1) workbook page 87 (Section C) and page 88 (Section D #1-3) and page 89 (Section E #1-3).  2) Sample questions.

 

Procedure for HS 2P/9P (5/28/09)

 

Objectives: 1) Students will present their year-end PowerPoint presentation today.  2) Students will start reviewing final exam. 

H/W: Examine your Final Exam Study Guide/Prepare your sentences for the final exam.  

Procedure:

1.      1)   Get one copy of Final Exam Writing Section Sample Questions. 

2)      All missed grades have to be finalized by the end of this week.  No makeup work will be accepted.  (2P: Kevin B; 9P: Brianna)

3)      Final exam writing section test is on next Wednesday, June 3.   

4)      (9P: senior returns textbook, please).

  2. (2P only) Pair work: 1) Workbook: pages 76, 77, 79, 80 & 75 (Section B, C, E, F, A).   2) Work on sample questions.
  3. (9P only) 1) Go over Study Guide.  2) Workbook: pages 76, 77, 79, 80 & 75 (Section B, C, E, F, A).   2) Work on sample questions.  3) Review textbook Lesson 12.

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P (5/28/09)

 

Objective: 1) Students will continue to work on writing sentences today.  2) Students will see art project samples for their art project next week.      

H/W: Review all 11 colors for quiz on next Monday (6/1/09).  2) Brainstorm ides for your art project. 

Procedure:

1.      Informal assessment (all eleven colors).

2.      Showcase time: more art project samples. 

3.      Teach new terms (like, like… the best).

4.      Writing two sentences: address and preference of colors.

5.      Pass out sports/animal handouts.  Go over terms.
