Objectives: 1) Students review blending of consonants/vowels. 2) Students continue to learn Chinese characters for math operators.

Homework: 1) Three new characters, one row each. 2) WB pages 20-21.

Procedure:

1. 1) Work on WB pages 17/19 while Ms. Chang checks completeness of your WB homework assignment. 2) (1P only) Pass back Audacity slip/papers. 3) At students’ request, first Chinese club meeting is rescheduled to next Tuesday afternoon at room 29. Procedure:

1. 1) Take one handout (number table) and one headset. 2) Test your computer.

2. Record counting numbers from 0-100 and blending 10 syllables.

3. Type passage with Pinyin. Turn it in with your name on the printout. It becomes your homework if it is not done in class.

4. Explore three websites, if times allows.

HS 2P (9/23/09) Procedure

Objectives: 1) Students show their mastery of reading lesson 6 or lesson 8 text. 2) Students complete typing their skit script.

Procedure:

Homework: Practice counting numbers from 0-100.

Procedure:

1. 1) Work at Dell Lab on next Wednesday (9/23). Quiz #3 on next Thursday (9/24). 2) Turn in answer sheet of the reading packet. Trade and grade as a class. Collect.

2. Teach counting principle. Count from 0-100.

3. Pass out 2 paper patterns (longevity/double happiness).

4. Pass out workbooks. Write down your name right away. It is $24 per book!
