HS 1P/9P (12/9/09)

Objective: 1) Students will polish their listening/speaking/writing skills though a Wednesday sharing routine. 2) Students will draft their family tree diagram with corresponding sentences for their oral presentation next week.

Homework: Complete your family tree sentences w/diagram.

Procedure:

1. 1) Turn in your 6-character homework. 2) Return all papers (audacity grades, 3-sentences). 3) Go over common mistakes in audacity (, 大概)

2. 1) Wednesday sharing. 2) Flash card activity.

3. Read text pages 43-44/47.

5. Draft your family tree sentences w/diagram. Collect

HS 2P (12/9/09)

Objectives: 1) Chinese II students will review for quiz tomorrow. 2) Chinese III students complete their WB pages.

Homework: 1) Chinese II students study for quiz tomorrow. 2) Chinese III students study for Amazing Race.

Procedure:

1. 1) Return all papers (audacity grades, course schedule). 2) Ms. Chang checks the completeness of your WB pages. 2) Flash card activity.

2. Chinese II: 1) Type setting activity. 2) Flash card activity. 3) Class work: Answer/write sentences.

3. Chinese III: 1) Go over key to WB pages 12/15. 2) Pair activity: getting information about school buildings. 3) Make terms on SmartBoard (WB page 14).

MS 3P/5P (12/9/09)

Objectives: 1) Students will perform a skit with learned greeting terms. 2) Students will continue to learn Chinese characters and gain knowledge about Chinese publication. 3) Students will brainstorm ideas about their art project.

Homework: Review for quiz on Thursday.

Procedure:

1. 1) Return all papers (skit, Chinese characters, etc). 2) Quick review.

2. (3P) Finish your skit. Learn 6 more Chinese characters.

3. Perform your skit.

4. (5P) Brainstorm ideas and showcase some art project samples.

5. (5P) Culture reading: Chinese publications/pronunciation
