Procedures for 1/13/10

HS 1P/9P (1/13/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will take their semester exam (oral section) today. 2) Students will study their semester exam (multiple choices section).

Homework: Review all learned terms in study guide for multiple choices section.

Procedure:

1. 1) Take one copy of Study Guide for First Semester Exam Multiple Choices section. 2) (1P only) Explain semester exam dates. Sign your agreement and return. 3) Ashley, Bryan, Maggie, and Ericka talk to Ms. Chang, please. (9P only) First semester test is at 1P on Thursday, 1/21. 4) No 5-sentence paragraph on 1/19/10. All makeup work needs to turn in on/before Friday (1/15). Last day of 2nd quarter is next Tuesday (1/19/10).

2. Oral test (randomly picked 3 questions). MS students come first.

3. Study multiple choices section independently or in pairs.

HS 2P (1/13/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will take their semester exam (oral section) today. 2) Students will study their semester exam (multiple choices section).

功課: Study multiple choices questions.

Procedure:

1. 1) Take one copy of Study Guide for First Semester Exam Multiple Choices section. 2) First semester exam is at 1st period on Friday, 1/22/10. 4) No 5-sentence paragraph on 1/19/10. All makeup work needs to turn in on/before Friday (1/15). Last day of 2nd quarter is next Tuesday (1/19/10).

1. Oral text (randomly picked 5 or 6 questions). Chinese III students go first.

2. 1) Study oral/multiple choices section independently or in pairs. 2) Finish up your writing section, if needed. Collect at the end of the class.

MS 3P/5P (1/13/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will finish 2 sentences for their oral presentation draft #2 today. 2) Students will brainstorm ideas for their art project through a display of many sample works. 3) (5P) Students will view a short video clip about Chinese New Year’s celebration. 4

Homework: Review learned term today.

Procedure:

1. 1) Return quiz paper/5-sentence paragraph. 2) Quick review (black, white, red, blue, green, yellow, orange, brown).

2. Teach new terms (3P: grey, purple, pink, brown, orange; 5P: grey, purple, pink).

3. Pass out/go over sports handout. (5P) Teach supplementary terms. Record your own term.

4. Showcase all art project sample work.
