Procedures for 2/25/10
HS 1P/9P (2/25/10)
Objectives: 1) Students will practice speaking/listening skills by interviewing each other in a pair activity. 2) Students will practice reading text passages for audacity.
Homework: Practice reading text passages and study for quiz on next Tuesday.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return all papers. Read text pages 66-69 while Ms. Chang checks your WB pages assignments. 2) Go over answer key to WB pages 52/54. 3) Go over common writing mistakes (咦, 點, 得, 裡). 4) No password is needed tomorrow. Parents need to contact Ms. Dawn Ferrante in writing to request a password copy.
2. Class work: Read text pages 66-69.
3. DVD viewing: 1) The Lady White Snake. 2) Tang Monk Disciplines Monkey King.
4. Survey: Chinese decoration (interested? – fill in the sign-up sheet, not interested? – being someone’s helper and specify in the sign-up sheet, too! Bring in supplies of staplers!! Volunteers—bring in glue guns w/glue sticks è say this in the sign-up sheet, please!)
5. (9P only) Pair activity: Interview each other for information (English/Chinese last/first names, nationality, language ability, and your dream profession).
HS 2P (2/25/10)
Objectives: 1) 中文二students will take a Lesson Four test today. 2) 中文三students will prepare/review for their text on next Tuesday.
Homework: 1) 中文二: finish up your skit. 2) 中文三: WB page 28. Study for your Lesson Two test on Tuesday (3/2/10).
Procedure:
1. 中文二: 1) Return all papers. Quick review. 2) Take Lesson four test. 3) Complete your skit. Due on next Tuesday.
2. 中文三: 1) Return all papers. 2) Check your WB pages assignment. 3) Go over answer key to assignment. 4) Read sentence patterns on text pages 28-31.

Objectives: Students will learn terms about animals and sports to use in their oral presentation.
Homework: 1) Review for quiz on Friday. 2) Work on your art project and oral presentation.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return all papers. 2) Quick review.
2. Showcase a singing art project. Demonstrate how to type pinyins on a website.
3. Pass out/Go over sports/animals handouts (terms and legend story). Teach supplementary terms.
