Procedures for 3/4/10

HS 1P/9P (3/4/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will make an audacity recording. 2) Students will type up their lesson 8/9 skit. 3) Students will add two more sentences into their PP slides.

Homework: N/A.

Procedure:

1. Get a headset, an instruction sheet and a copy of text passages slip to make lesson 8 audacity recording.

2. Type your lessons 8/9 skit. Collect.

3. Add two more sentences (nationality, language skills) with any available picture/images into your PP slides. Print out a handout format. Collect.

HS 2P (3/4/10)

Objectives: 1) Chinese II students will perform their skit today. 2) Chinese III students will brainstorm and start drafting their skit today.

Homework: 1) Practice reading your lesson four and Lesson Two for audacity recording on next Monday. 2) Listening comprehension worksheet. Due on next Monday.

Procedure:

1. 1) Return Listening Comprehension worksheet. Finish it as homework over this weekend. Turn in on next Monday. 2) Audacity recording on next Monday. 3) 中文二: Bonus points for four students who contacted your pen pal. Turn in your e-mail copy for credit! 4) 中文三: Lesson Two Listening Comprehension Section will be conducted on next Tuesday. Take one copy of Lesson Two Skit Rubric.

3. 中文三: 1) Questions on skit rubric? 2) Find your partner and work on your skit.

MS 3P/5P (3/4/10)

Objective: As a culminating activity of the six-week Exploratory Chinese, students will showcase their accomplishment by doing an oral presentation and finish an art project.

Homework: N/A

Procedure:

1. Art project.

2. Oral presentation.

3. (5P) Play games. (3P) Origami.
