Procedures for 3/31/2010

HS 1P/9P (3/31/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will make recording of lesson 9 text. 2) Students will complete and submit their PP draft #3 today.

Homework: N/A


1. Take one copy of instruction and one headset. Make audacity recording. Return headset and text passages slip.

2. Insert all digital pictures/clip arts into PP draft. Collect at the end of the class.

3. Play review game.

HS 2P (3/31/10)

Objectives: 1) Chinese II students will be able to ask about choice and price of merchandise. 2) Chinese III students will be able to name and express their preference of movie types. 3) Students will evaluate a software package.

Homework: 1) 中文三: WB page 30. 2) 中文二: WB page 42.


1. 1) Ms. Chang checks Chinese II WB page 41 H/W. Chinese III students turn in your character writing assignment. 2) Chinese II students go over answer key. 3) Sample Lychee jelly.

2. According to your assignment, each group take turns evaluating Great Wall Chinese software package.

3. 中文二: 1) Independent study: read text passages on pages 55-57 to a partner and do your homework. 2) Go over passages on text pages 58-59.

4. 中文三: 1) Go over passages on text pages 40-41. 2) Go over supplementary handout. 3) Independent study: do homework and read your passages for fluency.

MS 3P/5P (3/31/10)

Objectives: Students will continue to build sentences for oral presentation/

Homework: Study for your quiz tomorrow.


1. 1) Return 5-sentence papers. 2) Quick review.

2. (3P) VHS: Chinese Word for Horse.

3. Explain Chinese date format.

4. Build oral presentation draft #1 (family members, birthday).

5. (5P) Culture reading: Chinese cooking.
