Procedures for 4/22/10

HP 1P/9P (4/22/10)

Objective: Students will create an animated Voki that resembles himself/herself and record a description about his/her physical appearance.

Homework: 10-sentence paragraph in Chinese characters to describe yourself and a few sentences (4-5) about your friend. Due tomorrow.

Procedure:

1. 1) Return papers (characters, 10-sentence draft in Pinyin, PPT, skit). 2) Take one copy of Voki handout and one headset. 3) (1P only) Turn in your 5-character writing assignment.

2. Use audacity program to make recording of 10-sentence paragraph first. Save it as a WAV file.

3. Then follow the instructions in the Voki handout to create your Voki. Customize it with your own preference. Upload your .WAV file. E-mail your creation to Ms. Chang (changj@bbhcsd.org) with your name specified.

4. If you are done with creating/e-mailing a Voki, work on your 10-sentence paragraph homework assignment (in Chinese characters) or try to type it and save it under your H: drive.

HS 2P (4/22/10)

Objectives: 1) Chinese II students will start their skit presentation today. 2) Chinese III students will work on their Lesson 3 materials.

Homework: Prepare your audacity (4/29) and test for next week (4/26).

Procedure:

1. 1) Return all papers (characters). 2) 中文二 學生take one copy of Lesson 5 Study Guide. 3)

2. 中文二: 1) Skit presentation. 2) Study Lesson 5 Study Guide.

3. 中文三: 1) Go over common mistakes (, , ). 2) Finish up PPT (包瑞絲). 3) Independent study:

MS 3P/5P (4/22/10)

Objectives: Students will be able to present oral everything about himself/herself.

Homework: N/A

Procedure:

1. Return all papers/art projects.

2. Take turn presenting sentences about himself/herself.

3. (1P) Game time: Simon Says. / Song time: Head, Shoulder, Knees and Toes.
