Procedures for 5/28/10

HS 1P/2P/9P (5/28/10)

Objectives: Students will have hands-on experience in wrapping sticky rice dumplings to celebrate Dragon Boat Festival.

Homework: MS and Chinese II/III students practice conversation questions for oral semester exam.

Procedure:

1. MS students work with Ms. Chang at 6A/6B for your PPT.

2. Introduce guest teacher and room mothers: Mrs. Liu, Mrs. Dong (Eddie Dong), and Mrs. Soong (Christine Soong), and Mrs. Wu (Benita Wu).

3. 1) Put your book bag by the wall. 2) Listen to Mrs. Liu’s instructions. 3) Try it yourself. 4) Heat and enjoy the dumplings. 5) Help cleaning up.

Objectives: 1) Students will practice/review oral presentation sentences. 2) Students will explore Chinese folk art.

Objectives: Students will be able to present their year-end PPT project today.

Homework: MS students practice oral exam.

Procedure:

1. 1) MS students do not come to HS on 6/1. 2 revised schedules for HS/MS on that day. 2) MS students take your oral semester exam on 6/2 and 6/3. 3) MS students will take final semester exam with 18 HS students from 7:30-9:00 at HS on Wednesday, June 9. The rest 10 1P HS students will take semester exam on Thursday, 6/10 from 9:10-10:40. 4) The following students work with Ms. Chang at 6A/6B (Lillian).
