Procedures for 5/14/10

HS 1P/9P (5/14/10)

Objective: 1) Students will take their oral semester exam today. 2) Students will finish DVD today, if time allows.

Homework: Study text passages.


1. 1) Return papers. 2) Turn in your Food Consumption Table or other late work.

2. Oral semester exam: Conversation questions.

3. DVD: China: The Panda Adventure, if time allows.

HS 2P (5/14/10)

Objectives: Students will finish sentence patters in Lesson 5 and Lesson 7.

功課: 1) 中文二: 5+-sentence paragraph about the arrangement of going out with someone (details). 2) 中文三: 5-sentence paragraph about physical appearance comparison between two or more persons & 生字一行


1. 1) Turn in your character assignment. 2) Return all papers.

2. 中文二: 1) Finish text passages on pages 84-85. Independent study: 2) Go over sentence patterns on pages 86-88 & 90.

3. 中文三: 1) Finish text passages on pages 65-67. 2) Learn new characters (, , , , ).

Objectives: 1) Students will explore Tangram pieces. 2) Students will review Chinese number characters through a connecting dots activity. 3)

Homework: Review all learned terms (pinyin and Chinese characters)


1. 1) Quick review (0-10, 100 and characters). 2) (3P) Over the weekend homework: 5-sentence paragraph.

2. Pass out number table. Study and use as a reference. Connecting the Dot activity.
