Procedures for 5/24/10

HS 1P/9P (5/24/10)

Objectives: Students will be able to showcase what they learn after 9 months’ Chinese in a PPT about himself/herself.

Homework: Study for Lesson 11 test and audacity.

Procedure:

1. 1) Return all papers. 2) Lesson 11 test tomorrow. Audacity on Wednesday. Continue our PPT presentation on Thursday. 3) Seniors, return your textbook on Thursday. Others return your textbook on June 7 first and Ms. Chang will pass it back on your test day.

2. PPT presentation. Turn in your checklist for grades.

HS 2P (5/24/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will prepare for their semester exam writing section. 2) Students will prepare for their audacity recording.

Homework: Practice reading text. Review WB pages.

Procedure:

1. 1Questions about your grades? 3) Seniors, return your textbook on Thursday. Others return your textbook on June 7 first and Ms. Chang will pass it back on June 10, the test day. 4) Audacity on this Wednesday. Rice dumpling wrapping on this Friday. One guest teacher and 2-3 moms are coming.

2. 中文二: 1) Listening activity: WB page 56 / Section A. Go over the answer. 2) Read text passages on pages 82-85

3. 中文三: 1) Read text passages on pages 62-69. 2) Listening activity: WB page 59 / Section L. Go over answer key.

MS 3P/5P (5/24/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will continue to learn terms for colors and build more sentences for the oral presentation. 2) Students will complete 1 origami product today.

Homework: Review learned terms.

Procedure:

1. 1) Quick review (4 colors). 2) Quiz #2 for 8th graders tomorrow. 3) Return draft #1.

2. Teach new colors (blue, green, purple, brown, nian, brithday).

3. Introduce Chinese date format. Write sentence #5.

4. Origami: pin wheel.
