Procedures for 5/20/10

HS 1P/9P (5/20/10)

Objectives: Students will review for their Lesson 11 test on Tuesday, PPT presentation on Monday, and audacity recording on Wednesday.

Homework: Study for your test, audacity and PPT.

Procedure:

1. 1) Turn in your character assignment. 2) Return all papers. 3) Check your WB page 73. 4) Be sure to e-mail me your PPT file before Monday or drop it in O submit drive.

2. Seat work: WB page 69. Go over answer key to WB pages 69 & 73 / Sections A / E.

3. Read text passages

4. Puzzle activity.

5. Listening activity: WB page 70 / Section B. Go over the answer.

6. Take semester oral exam / Practice reading your PPT. Questions?

HS 2P (5/20/10)

Objectives: Students will review and apply learned sentence patterns to

MS 3P/5P (5/20/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will build a sentence for their oral presentation. 2) Students will participate in constructing tangram shapes.

Homework: Review for quiz on tomorrow.

Procedure:

1. 1) Quick review (siblings, 8 Chinese characters). 2) Quiz #3 tomorrow.

2. (3P) Check H/W flash cards. (5P) Make flash cards in class.

3. Culture reading: lucky numbers/unlucky numbers.

4. (3P) Build sentence #6. Tangram pieces competition (3 shapes).

5. Prepare Origami papers.
