Procedures for 6/1/10

HS 1P/9P (6/1/10)

Objectives: Students will finish up their PPT or audacity today.

Homework: N/A


1. (9P) Write a few positive comments/words for our senior (Shauna). Count it as your 5 participation points.

2. The following students read/talk to Ms. Chang (1P: Audacity: Andrew, Ashley, Ericka; Test: Ericka; PPT: Erin, Nate, Devon, Ericka, Ryan, Andrew, James H., Caitlin, Kathryn, Adam Y. Oral semester exam: Ryan, Ashley, Ericka /// 9P: PPT: Jeremie, Eddie, Kayla, Joel, Cory, Mitchell; Audacity: Audacity: Jeremie, Eddie, Cory, Mitchell; oral semester exam: Mitchell, Jeremie, Cory, Joel). All makeup work has to turn in by the end of this Friday.

HS 2P (6/1/10)

Objectives: Students will practice conversation questions for their oral semester exam

Homework: 1) Prepare for oral semester exam. 2) 中文三: WB pages 86 (#1-#4) & 88. 3) 中文二: WB page 89 (#1-#5).


1. 1) Write a few positive comments for our seniors (Chinese III: Ray, Rachel, Mike Marefka; Chinese II: Zach, Eric, Kay Leigh, Victoria, Jae-Min, Kirsten). Collect at the end of the class. Count 5-10 points as your participation grade. 2) Oral semester exam will take place on 6/3 and 6/4. All makeup work has to turn in by the end of this Friday.

2. The following students talk to Ms. Chang, please (Chinese II: Kevin, Cecilia, Michael, Brianna /// Chinese III: Marissa, Christina).

3. Independent work: Practice your conversation questions.

MS 3P/5P (6/1/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will gain cultural knowledge about Chinese cooking and browse through many cook books. 2) Students will view a famous imaginary character, Monkey King, in Chinese literature

Homework: 1) Finish up your art project. 2) Practice your oral presentation.


1. 1) Art project is due at the end of the class period tomorrow. 2) Oral presentation will be conducted on Thursday and Friday. 3) (5P) Olivia & David take your quiz #2 today. Tayler & Dani (?) turn in your draft #2. One quiz paper is without name. Dani, Tayler, Dev, and Sean take quiz #4.

2. DVD: The Making of Monkey King.

3. Culture reading: Chinese good, seasonings and utensils.

4. Browse through cook books.
