Procedures for 9/3/10

Procedure for HS 1P (9/3/10)

Objectives: 1) Learn more basic greeting terms.  2) Gain information about NSLI-Y study abroad program.

Homework: Review all learned for quiz #1 (9/9).

Procedure:

  1. 1) Check your supplies (binder, dividers, tabs, highlighters, Expo marker).  2) Return papers.
  2. Teach greeting terms (Dui Bu Qi, Mei Guan Xi, Dong le ma, Dong le, Bu Dong).
  3. Present NSLI-Y program (Dana Buzzelli).  Q/A session.

Procedure for HS 2P (9/3/10)

Objectives: Gain information about NSLI-Y study abroad program.

Homework: Study over the weekend for first test on 9/8.

Procedure:

  1. Present NSLI-Y program (Dana Buzzelli).  Q/A session.
  2. 1) Return papers.  2) Check supplies

Procedure for HS 9P (9/3/10)

Objectives: Gain information about NSLi-Y study abroad program.

Homework: 1) Study for quiz #1 (weekdays, dates, calendar w/various day phrases) on 9/8. 2) Writing assignment (5 characters).

Procedure:

Present NSLI-Y program (Dana Buzzelli).  Q/A session.

Procedure for MS 3P (9/3/10)

Objectives: 1) Learn simple Chinese characters.  2) Gain geographical knowledge about China.

Homework: Study for quiz #1 (basic greetings).

Procedure:

  1. 1) Review all learned terms.  2) Quiz #1 on Tuesday, 9/7.
  2. Learn simple Chinese characters (水, 口, 人).
  3. DVD: Places in China.
  4. Pair activity:  Complete reading packet (China).  Collect.

Procedure for MS 5P (9/3/10)

Objectives: 1) Gain information about NSLI-Y study abroad program.  2) Learn more simple Chinese characters.

Homework: 1) Complete writing assignment.  2) Study for quiz #1 (9/7).

Procedure:

  1. Captains check your group members’ supplies (binder, dividers, tabs, highlighters, Expo marker).  Return cards to Ms. Chang.
  2. Write simple characters (山, 水, 火, 人).
  3. Present NSLI-Y program (Dana Buzzelli).
