Procedures for 9/30/10

Procedure for HS 1P (9/30/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will be able to read/say and solve math equations.  2) Students will be able to discriminate g, k, h, j, q, and x consonants.

Homework: 1) Study/memorize math operators.  2) Complete math equation worksheet.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Take one copy of math equations worksheet.  2) Return audacity grades.  Comments or feedback?  Will redo next week.  3) Turn in your character worksheet on next Monday.  4) Check completeness of your workbook pages 20.  5) Go over answer key to workbook pages 19-20.  6) Work on page 21 as a class.  7) Move Lesson Three test to next Monday!!
  2. Dictation (g, k, h, j, q, x).
  3. Read text passages on page 20.
  4. Start homework worksheet as a class.

Procedure for HS 2P (9/30/10)

目標: Students will be able to learn new vocabulary and supplementary terms for four seasons.

功課: 1) Complete your skit over this weekend.  2) Write new characters (季, 每, 夏, 秋, 冬).

程序:

  1. 1) Take one copy of Lesson Eight Study Guide and one set of Lesson Nine text passages.  2) Audacity test?  Comments or feedback?  Website resources?  Make an appointment with Ms. Chang for your grades.  3)  Move lesson eight test to next Monday.  Skit remains due on next Monday!!
  2. Flash card activity/Practice sample questions (How’s the weather today?).
  3. Teach new characters (季, 每, 夏, 秋, 冬).
  4. Read text passages on page 105-106.

Procedure for HS 9P (9/30/10)

Objectives: Students will be able to comprehend/express time and describe various actions correctly.

Homework: 1) Write new characters (午,下, 晚, 起, 床).  2) Complete telling time worksheet.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Take one copy of Telling time worksheet.  2) Lesson Two quiz #1 tomorrow.  2) Return audacity grades.  Go over common mistakes.  Comments on website resources?  4) Go over action verbs for tomorrow’s quiz.  4) Anthony, Caelin, Bailey, Ryan and Colin talk to Ms. Chang after class, please.
  2. Listen to audio file / complete WB page 11 or on any piece of paper.
  3. Teach new characters (午,下, 晚, 起, 床) and terms.
  4. Conversation question practice (What time is it?  What is/are he/she/you doing?).
  5. Read text passage on page 19.

Procedure for MS 3P (9/30/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will learn terms for animals and sports.  Homework: Review all 11 colors for quiz tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. Review all learned terms.
  2. Provide animal supplementary terms.  Write one sentence (preference of animals).
  3. Pass out/go over sports handout.
  4. Pair practice: Read sentences 1-10.  Collect.

Procedure for MS 5P (9/30/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will be able to read/say and solve math equations.  2) Students will become fluent in numbers through various activities.  3) Students will be able to discriminate j, q, and x consonants.

Homework: 1) Study/memorize math operators.  2) Complete worksheet as homework tonight.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Take one copy of math equations worksheet.  2) Return your audacity grade paper.  Comments or feedback?  3) Check the completeness of pages 20.  4) Go over answer key to workbook pages 19-20.  5) Work on page 21 as a class.  6) Move Lesson Three to next Monday.  Go over sample questions.
