Procedures for 10/28/10

Procedure for HS 1P (10/28/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will be able to get fluency with their first question sentence pattern through a fun-filled activity. 2) Students will be able to continue their 2nd compound vowels handout today.

Homework: Review all learned syllables.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Missing work (Ellen: audacity). 2) Return papers (Troy, Seth). 3) Check your skit grouping status….
  2. Take one copy of Who is He/She worksheet. 2) Draw a number and change seats for 2nd quarter.
  3. Class activity: Who is He/She. Write down answers. Exchange for grading. Take turns saying sentence patter and share answers.
  4. Go over compound vowels handout.
  5. Class activity: conversation questions (你/我/他/她/你們/我們/他們/她們是…..).

Procedure for HS 2P (10/28/10)

目標: 1) Students will be able to showcase their mastery of Lesson Nine. 2) Students will be able to preview new chapter today.

功課: continue to work on your skit.

程序:

  1. 1) Take one copy of Ni Hao 3 Lesson One Supplementary Terms handout. 2) Quick review. 3) Turn in your Ni Hao 2 Lesson Nine characters worksheet.
  2. Lesson Two chapter two test.
  3. Preview Ni Hao 3 Lesson One.

Procedure for HS 9P (10/28/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will be able to review text passages for next Monday’s audacity recording. 2) Students will be able to describe relative position of things.

功課: Study for Lesson Two audacity recording on 11/1.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Audacity recording: Monday, 11/1. 2) Return WB page & H/W papers (John, Anthony, & Pamela). 3) Missing WB page 18 work (all except Nathaniel, Lillian, Kathryn, Melissa, Michela, Jay, Wyatt, Collin, Pamela, Ryan, Antonio, Heidi, Brad, Benita, John, Adam Y.). Caelin, Bryan, Claire, Eddie, Davie and Anthony did not turn in work yesterday.
  2. Explain sentence patterns with samples.
  3. Continue oral exam (Bailey, Jay, Wyatt, Michaela, Melissa, Kathryn, Caitlin, Anthony, Adam).
  4. Fix your WB page 18 and turn in again.

No Chinese Class for MS Exploratory 3P Class today—Team day

Procedure for MS 5P (10/28/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will be able to get familiar with their first question sentence pattern through a fun-filled activity. 2) Students will be able to follow their lab procedure for next Monday.

Homework: Review all learned syllables.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Take one copy of Who is He/She worksheet and one set of class roster w/English and Chinese names. 2) Draw a number and change seats for 2nd quarter.
  2. Class activity: Who is He/She. Write down answers. Take turns saying sentence pattern and share answers.
  3. Go over next Monday’s procedure: audacity, type pinyin and type Chinese characters.
