Procedures for 10/20/10

Procedure for HS 1P (10/20/10)

Objectives: Students will be able to review materials for Lesson Two chapter test tomorrow.  Homework: Study for test tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Get one copy of Lesson Two study guide.  Return papers.  2) Turn in your Lesson Two characters worksheet tomorrow.  3) First quarter oral test: next Tuesday/Wednesday.
  2. 1) Go over study guide.  2) Go over sample questions.
  3. Dictation (ai ao ou ei ua uo ie ia ue).
  4. Introduce your classmates’ Chinese names.

Procedure for HS 2P (10/20/10)

目標: Students will practice their listening skill through listening to audio files.

功課: 1) Write new characters.  2) Review conversation questions.

程序:

  1. 1) Get one copy of Lesson Nine Text Passages.  2) Return all papers.
  2. Teach new characters (汗, 背, 身, 心, 暢).
  3. Listen to audio file: WB page 80.  Go over the answer key to WB page.
  4. Listening activity: WB page 82.  Go over the answer key to WB page.

Procedure for HS 9P (10/20/10)

Objectives: Students will practice sample questions for test tomorrow today.

功課: Study for test tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Turn in your revised pen pal letters.  2) First quarter oral test: next Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday.  3) Get one copy of Lesson Two Study Guide.  4) Go over the study guide.
  2. Practice writing problems.
  3. Read text passages: pages 16-20.
  4. DVD: Seven Wonders of China: Mount Wudang.

Procedure for MS 3P (10/20/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will be able to learn pronunciation and characters for numbers (1-5).  2) Students will be able to see more art project samples.

Homework: Review learned terms.

Procedure:

  1. Get one copy of square papers.
  2. Teach new terms (1-5): pronunciations and characters.
  3. Culture reading: page 6/Showcase publications.
  4. Showcase art project samples (PPT, movies, craft).

Procedure for MS 5P (10/20/10)

Objectives: Students will be able to review materials for Lesson Two chapter test tomorrow.

Homework: Study for test tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Audacity recording/Input Pinyin and Chinese characters: Monday, November 1.  2) Get one copy of Lesson Two study guide.  3) Turn in your Lesson Two characters worksheet tomorrow.  4) Missing work (Ryan, Keiichi, Marissa—Chinese name).
  2. 1) Go over study guide.  2) Go over sample questions.
  3. Dictation (ai ao ou ei ua uo ie ia ue).
