Procedure for HS 1P (11/23/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will be able to learn terms of school supplies.  2) Students will gain fluency through cite reading routine.  3) Students will be able to finish up a video about giant panda in China.

Homework: Write new characters.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (筆/笔, 毛, 書/书, 包, 尺).  2) Quick reading (sentences #1-16).
  2. Teach new characters (這, 那, 什, 麼, 剪, 刀).
  3. DVD: China: The Panda Adventure/Snack Time!

Procedure for HS 2P (11/23/10)

目標: 1) Students will be able to learn terms for school offices/classrooms.  2) Students will be able to practice sentence patterns of borrowing various items between friends/bringing things.

功課: Write new characters.

程序:

  1. 1) Turn in your sentence homework.  2) Simple conversation practice.
  2. 1) Quick review (字典, 詞典, 借錢, 功課, 計算機, 筆, 忘記, 教室).  2) Learn new characters (教, 計, 算, 棟, 禮, 堂)──行政, 圖書館, 禮堂, 校長, 校長室.
  3. DVD: China: The Panda Adventure.

Procedure for HS 9P (11/23/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will be able to showcase their floor plan project through PPT, movie, poster or model.  2) Students will practice their listening/speaking skills through oral

presentation session.

功課: N/A

Procedure:

  1. 1) Return flash drives.  2) Turn in your flash drive, poster, CD w/checklist and printed script, if you have not done so.
  2. Oral presentation.

Procedure for MS 3P (11/23/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will be able to gain cultural/geographic knowledge about China.  2) Students will be able to know Ms. Chang’s classroom expectations.

Homework: Signature slip. Due on next Tuesday, 11/30.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quiz #1: Wednesday, 12/8.  2) Pass out/Go over Ms. Chang’s Classroom Rules/Grading Policy.
  2. Pass out/Go over Culture Reading: General Introduction to China.
  3. DVD: Introduction to China.
  4. Pair activity: read and complete the reading packet.

Procedure for MS 5P (11/23/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will be able to learn terms for school supplies.  2) Students will gain fluency through cite reading routine.  3) Students will be able to learn negative statement sentence pattern today.  4) Students will be able to finish a video about giant pandas in China.

Homework: Write new characters.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (筆/笔, 毛, 書/书, 包, 尺).  2) Quick reading (sentences #1-16): call on individual student.
  2. 1) Teach new characters (剪, 刀, 橡, 皮, 不).  2) Introduce negative sentence pattern.
  3. DVD: China: The Panda Adventure!
  4. Read text passages on pages 32-33.
