Procedures for 11/11/10

Procedure for HS 1P (11/10/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will showcase their presentation skill through a simple skit.  2) Students will complete reviewing back nasal sounds.

Homework: 1) Review learned terms.  2) Study for chapter test.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Dictation.  2) Go over Back Nasal Sounds handout.
  2. Give Ms. Chang your draft and checklist.  Skit presentation.
  3. Song time: Wish you Have a Happy Birthday to You.
  4. Go over Review Sounds 1 handout, if time allows.

Procedure for HS 2P (11/10/10)

目標: 1) Students will be able to present their weather skit or weather brochure.  2) Students will be able to practice dialogue about their class schedule.

功課: WB page 2, if not completed in class.

程序:

  1. Turn in your work (revised skit, brochure, etc).
  2. Skit presentation.
  3. Conversation practice: students’ class schedule.

Procedure for HS 9P (11/10/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will practice their oral skill through a conversation routine.  2) Students will be able to write sentences about their house.

功課: 1) Practice reading text passages.  2) Work on your Floor Plan project.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Turn in your WB page 24.  2) Quick review: Quick review (上面, 下面, 前面, 後/后面, 左邊/边, 右邊/边, 裡面, 外面, 對面, 游泳池, 書/书房, 廚/厨房, 車庫/车库, 客廳/厅, 飯廳/饭厅, 花園/园, 公園/园, 公寓, 洋房, 陽/阳台, 卧/臥室/房, 洗衣房, 廁/厕所, 浴室).
  2. 1) Quick review of conversation questions.  2) Weekly conversation quiz.
  3. Seat work: draw a simple diagram of your house.  Write down at least 5 sentences to describe your house.  Collect.

Procedure for MS 3P (11/10/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will finish up unit #4 today.  2) Students will continue to build sentences for their oral presentation today.

Homework: Review learned terms.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick Review (Hong Se, Bai Se, Huang Se, Hei Se, Lü Se, Lan Se,  Zi Se, Zong Se).  2) Quiz #4: Friday, 11/12.
  2. Teach new terms (Fen Hong Se, Cheng Se, Hui Se, Xi Huan, Zui).
  3. Pass out/Go over sports handout.
  4. Build sentences 8-10: my favorite color(s) is/are…, my favorite animal(s) is/are…, , my favorite sport(s) is/are…

Procedure for MS 5P (11/10/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will showcase their presentation skill through a simple skit.  2) Students will complete viewing back nasal sounds.

Homework: 1) Review all learned terms.  2) Study for chapter test.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Take one copy of Review Sounds 1 handout.  2) Captains check completeness of WB page 26.
  2. Give Ms. Chang your checklist and draft.  Skit presentation.
