Procedures for 12/8/10

Procedure for HS 1P (12/8/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will be able to practice reading text passages and sentences for audacity recording tomorrow.  2) Students will be able to gain cultural knowledge about Chinese finger-guessing game and calligraphy.

Homework: Practice reading text passages.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Review text passages on pages 32-35.  2) Read Review Sounds 1 handout.  Questions?
  2. Culture reading: text pages 41-42.  1) Finger-guessing game: game time and 2) Calligraphy: DVD.

Procedure for HS 2P (12/8/10)

目標: 1) Students will be able to review materials for the quiz on Friday.  2) Students will be able to practice reading passages for audacity tomorrow.  3) Students will be able to review sentence patterns.

功課: 1) Study for quiz.  2) Practice reading for audacity tomorrow.

程序:

  1. 1) Quick review (詞典, 自己, 一定, 計算機, 記得, 忘記, 教室, 行政, 圖書館, 禮堂, 辦公室, 大樓, 流利, 馬馬虎虎. 意思, 作業, 注意, 問題, 清楚, 說話).  2) Missing work (Kaitlyn, Ben).
  2. Read text passages on pages 1-5 for audacity.
  3. Go over sentence patterns on pages 11-12.
  4. Review homework/conversation question on WB page 7.

Procedure for HS 9P (12/8/10)

**  No HS 9P today due to an NHS Assembly.

Procedure for MS 3P (12/8/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will be able to showcase their mastery of unit #1: greetings today.  2) Students will be able to learn numbers 1-5 and Chinese characters for 1-5 today.

Homework: 1) Review learned terms.  2) Finish writing Chinese characters.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (Ni Hao, Lao Shi, Zai Jian, Ni Shi, Wo Shi, Wu An, Wan An, Zao, Zao An, Ni Zao, Zao Shang Hao, Xie Xie, Bu Xie, Bu Ke Qi, Dui Bu Qi, Mei Guan Xi, Shang Ke, Xia Ke, Qi Li, Jing Li, Zuo Xia, Qing Zuo, Dong le ma, Dong le, Bu Dong, Tong Xue men Hao).  2) Quiz #1.
  2. Quick review/teach new terms with Chinese characters (yi, er, san, si, wu).
  3. Skit presentation.

Procedure for MS 5P (12/8/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will showcase their oral and cite reading fluency through an audacity recording.  2) Students will review learned materials through playing interactive games.

Homework: N/A

Procedure:

1.   Take one copy of Lesson Five text passages slip.  Make a recording of Lesson Five text passages and three sentences from Review Sounds 1 handout.  Save your recording(s) as < last name >LessonFive.wav and submit your recording(s) to MS5P folder under O drive and Ms. Chang’s folder.

2.  Go to P drive and click Ni Hao 1 game under Ms. Chang’s folder.
