Procedure for HS 1P (12/2/10)

Objectives: Students will be able to showcase their oral fluency through cite reading sentences.

Homework: WB page 31 Section F.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Captains check completeness of WB page 29 Section D.  2) Go over the answer key to WB page.
  2. Read text passages on pages 32-34.
  3. 1) Review all sentences in Review Sounds 1 handout.  2) Round robin reading Review Sound 1 handout.  Count as your participation grade today.

Procedure for HS 2P (12/2/10)

目標: 1) Students will be able to showcase their oral fluency through cite reading sentences.  2)

功課: 1) WB page 11 #5, #6 and #8.  2) Make 2 sentences with < verb > 多久了 and answer the questions.

程序:

  1. 1) Listening activity: WB page 6 Section G.  2) Go over answer key to WB page.
  2. Teach new terms (多, 久)—多久.
  3. Teach Text page 12 sentence pattern: < verb > 多久了 with sample sentences.
  4. Culture reading: text page 17 (Radicals)

Procedure for HS 9P (12/2/10)

Objectives: Students will be able to sharpen their listening, reading, and speaking skills through various activities.

功課: 1) Write new characters.  2) Review all learned terms to prepare Lesson Three chapter test on next Wednesday.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Turn in your writing assignment.  2) Return papers, flash drives, etc.  3) Review the usage of (回來, 回去, 送來, 送去, 修理) with sample .
  2. Round Robin reading text passages on pages 29-31 and 34.
  3. Listening activity: WB page 27 Section K.
  4. Learn new characters (倒, 霉, 地, 板)—倒了, 發霉, 土地, 地上, 地下室, 木板

Procedure for MS 3P (12/2/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will be able to learn basic greeting terms.  2) Students will gain cultural knowledge about Chinese characters and pronunciation.

Homework: Review learned terms.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Turn in your 8 characters writing assignment.  2) Quick review (Ni Hao, Lao Shi, Zai Jian, Ni Shi, Wo Shi, Wu An, Wan An, Zao, Zao An, Ni Zao, Zao Shang Hao).  3) Review Chinese characters.
  2. Teach new greeting terms (Xiè Xie, Bú Xiè, Bú Kè Qì, Duì Bù Qǐ, Méi Guān Xi).
  3. Culture reading: Chinese writing and pronunciation.

Procedure for MS 5P (12/2/10)

Objectives: 1) Students will be able to showcase their oral fluency through cite reading sentences.  2) Students will be able to finish up acquiring all new characters in this lesson.

Homework: 1) WB page 31 Section F.  2) Write new characters.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Captains check completeness of WB page 29 Section D.  Go over the answer key to WB page.
  2. Read text passages on pages 32-34 in both simplified/traditional versions.
  3. Round robin reading Review Sound 1 handout.  Count as your participation grade today.
