Procedure for HS 1P (4/6/11)

 

Objectives: Students will be able to name various sports.

Homework: WB page 56

Procedure:

  1. 1) Take one copy of Sports handout.  2)Ms. Chang checks completeness of WB pages 76 and 79.  3) Go over the answer key.
  2. Teach new characters (跑, 步, 踢, 乒, 乓) with terms (跑步, 乒乓球, 踢球).
  3. Read text passage on page 77.
  4. Go over the Sports handout.
  5. DVD: Chinese zodiac animals.

 

 

Procedure for HS 2P (4/6/11)

 

目標: 1) Students will be able to talk about their life out of school.  2) Students will be able to review learned material.

功課: Making sentences (又..又, 一點都不 < adjective > = 一點 < noun > 都沒有, 不是..就是, )

程序:

  1. 1) Ms. Chang checks the completeness of your WB page 43.  2) Go over the answer key.
  2. Teach new characters (連, 續, 劇, 部, 整) with terms (連續劇, 舞台劇, 歌劇, 劇本, 喜劇, 聽說, 意思, 整人, 一整天).
  3. 1) Read text passages on page 38.  2) Flash cards.

Procedure for HS 9P (4/6/11)

 

Objectives: Students will be able to exchange information about their phone number and address, and ask whether they are available.

功課: 1) Write new characters.  2) Complete writing assignment.  Due tomorrow. 

Procedure:

  1. 1) Return papers.  2) Round robin reading: Friday, 4/8/11 (page 70).
  2. Teach new characters (皇, 后, 事, 位, 等) with terms (皇后, 太后, 皇室, 皇家, 皇帝, 有幾位? 找哪位? 等一下).
  3. Read text passage on page 70.
  4. 1) Flash cards.  2) Game time: http://edu.ocac.gov.tw/lang/chineselearn/

 

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P (4/6/11)

 

Objectives: 1) Students will be able to name family members.  2) Students will be able to compose a 10-sentence oral presentation script.  3) Students will be able to gain cultural knowledge about places in China.

Homework: Review learned terms.

Procedure

  1. 1) Makeup work/test (Tyler/Joy: quiz #2, character writing assignment + connecting the dots; Zack/Colin: connecting the dots; one paper without name?).  2) Return papers.
  2. 1) Teach new terms (baba, mama, gege, didi, jiejie, meimei).  2) Teach typing Chinese character online.
  3. Cultural reading: 1) Lucky and unlucky numbers.  2) Chinese school systems.
  4. Pass out/go over handout structures.
  5. DVD: Places in China.

 

 

Procedure for MS 5P (4/6/11)

 

Objectives: Students will be able to name various sports.

Homework: 1) Write new characters.  2) WB page 56

Procedure:

  1. 1) Captains check completeness of WB pages 76 and 79.  2) Go over the answer key.  3) Missing work (Kyle / Alex: Everything Visual; Brandon H./Alex: matching + sentence handout?) 4) Return papers.  5) Not work at media center tomorrow.  6) Take two copies of sports handout.  7) Hold on to your e-mail draft.  Will get information for you if your pen pal has QQ account.
  2. Teach new characters (跑, 步, 踢, 乒, 乓) with terms (跑步, 乒乓球, 踢球).
  3. Read text passage on page 77.
  4. Go over/prepare sports handouts.
  5. Conversation quiz (5 students today).
