Procedure for HS 1P (5/20/11)

 

Objectives: 1) Students will be able to express their food preferences and name some Chinese dishes.  2) Students will be able to sharpen their speaking, writing and listening skills. 

Homework: 1) Write new characters.  2) Complete WB page 74.  Due next Monday, 5/23.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (口渴, 喝水, 很餓, 很渴, 好餓, 好渴, 想吃, 三明治, 水果, 果汁, 牛奶, 奶水, 喜歡, 歡喜, 中國菜, 炒飯, 炒菜).  3) Skit presentation (Shaina).
  2. Teach new characters (會, 做, 拿, 筷, 看) with terms (真的啊, 筷子, 可是).
  3. 1) Read text passages on page 93-95.  2) Interview activity: WB page 74.
  4. Chinese Jian Zi activity.

 

Procedure for HS 2P (5/20/11)

 

目標: Students will be able to polish their listening skill.

功課: Study for chapter test part II.

程序:

  1. 1) Ms. Chang checks your WB page 36.  Go over the answer key.  3) Quick review (禮堂, 舞龍, 舞獅, 笛子, 獅子, 太極拳, 琵琶, 成人, 成功, 開門, 開關, 地點, 晚會, 表演, 人民, 國民).  4) Makeup work (Ben, Josiah).
  2. Listening activity: WB 40 / Section M.
  3. Chinese IV: Go over WB pages 10-12.

 

 

Procedure for HS 9P (5/20/11)

 

Objectives: Students will be able to practice their speaking and listening skills.

功課: 1) WB page 70.  2) Practice your conversation dialogues (telephone, dining out, shopping).

Procedure:

  1. 1) Turn in your order of food.  2) Quick review (牛排, 排球, 魚排, 雞排, 豬排, 改天, 便飯, 請坐, 坐下, 點菜, 菜單, 名單, 炒飯, 春捲, 白飯, 甜酸雞, 漢堡, 熱狗, 三明治, 牛奶, 果汁, 水, 可樂, 咖啡, 沙拉, 盤子, 飯碗, 酸辣湯, 獅子, 獅子頭).  3) Oral exam: Wednesday (5/25) and Thursday (5/26) for seniors.  Tuesday-Thursday (5/31-6/2) for the rest of the class.
  2. Sharing: WB page 67.  Turn in your WB page 67 or leave your workbook for Ms. Chang to check.
  3. Teach new terms (還/还, 結/结, 帳/帐, 味, 精) with term (還是, 對了, 結/结果, 結帳/结帐, 味精, 味道).
  4. Class work: go over WB page 70.  Complete as homework tonight.

 

Procedure for MS 3P (5/20/11)

 

Objectives: 1) Students will be able to showcase their mastery of number unit.  2) Students will be able to gain a glimpse of Chinese class activities.

Homework: Review learned terms.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (yi, er, san, si, wu, liu, qi, ba, jiu, shi, ling, bai, ri, yue, shan, shui, mu, ren, huo, kou).  2) Quiz #2.
  2. 1) Quick review (baba, mama, gege, didi, meimei, jiejie, sui, jia, you, ge ren, he).  2) Teach new terms (he, liang).  3) Build sentence #4.
  3. 1) Introduce Chinese I class roster.  2) Introduce Chinese class activities.

 

Procedure for MS 5P (5/20/11)
