Procedures for 6/1/11

Procedure for HS 1P (6/1/11)

 

Objectives: Students will be able to talk about themselves.

Homework: 1) Practice your PPT presentation.  2) Study your semester exam.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Return your textbook when you take your exam (6/7/11).  2) Listening activity: WB page 70 / Section B.  Go over the answer.
  2. 1) Oral exam.  2) PPT presentation.

 

Procedure for HS 2P (6/1/11)

 

目標: Students will be able to review for their semester exam.

功課: Practice giving directions (WB page 22)

程序:

  1. 1) Get one copy of measure words used in semester exam.  2) Quick reading: text page 44.  3) Round robin reading: page 44.  4) Makeup work (Ben).  5) Oral exam: Friday, 6/3 and Monday, 6/6 (class schedule, TV schedule, giving directions).  6) Return your textbook when you take your exam (6/7/11).
  2. 1) Go over the measure words.  2) Round robin reading: text page 44.  3) Review sentence pattern (From A to B 要多久?).  Class activity: orally go over the sentence pattern.

 

Procedure for HS 9P (6/1/11)

 

Objectives: Students will be able to prepare for their semester exam.

功課: Study. 

Procedure:

  1. 1) Turn in your Lesson Eight characters worksheet and WB page 72.  2) Return your book when you take your exam (6/9/11).
  2. Oral exam ó Pair/Group study.  Questions?

 

Procedure for MS 3P (6/1/11)

 

Objectives: 1) Students will be able to compose sentences to introduce themselves.  2) Students will be able to type pinyin with a web site tool.

Homework: 1) Review learned terms.  2) Finalize your art project.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Check out how you wrap a sticky rice dumpling, http://www.euphocafe.com/recipe/cooking_tw/wrapping.gif.  2) Makeup quiz (Alex).  Makeup work (Rachel L.: draft #1).  3) Quiz #4 / art project due: Friday, 6/3/11.
  2. 1) Learn to type pinyin with a web site tool.  2) Quick review (hong se, huang se, hei se, bai se).  3) Teach new terms (lan se, lu se, zi se, zong se).
  3. 1) Pass out/go over sports handout.  2) Build sentence #9-#10.  3) Pair practice: reading sentences #6-#10.  Collect.
  4. DVD: Chinese language program in American schools.

 

Procedure for MS 5P (6/1/11)

 

Objectives: Students will be able to showcase their mastery of Chinese I curriculum.

Homework: 1) Prepare your PPT presentation.  2) Study for your semester exam (writing part).

Procedure:

  1. 1) Draw a number for your PPT.  2) Turn in your Lesson Eleven characters worksheet tomorrow.  3) Return your textbook by Friday, 6/3/11.
  2. Semester Exam: MC.
