Procedures for 6/6/11

Homeroom (6/6/11)

 

**        No homeroom during the semester exam time.  Report to your 1P exam classroom before 7:30 tomorrow.

 

**        Empty your locker by the end of today and leave it open, please.  Starting from tomorrow, Ms. Chang needs to check your locker and report any problems to office.

 

 

Procedure for HS 1P (6/6/11)

 

Objectives: 1) Students will be able to showcase their mastery of Chinese I curriculum.  2) Students will be able to practice writing for semester exam.

Homework: Study!

Procedure:

  1. 1) Return papers (characters worksheet, PPT).  2) Makeup work (PPT: Claire/Stefan/Seth; characters worksheet: Claire, Shaina, Joe, Abby, Stefan, Seth, Darian).  3) Return your book tomorrow.  4) Extra credit work (Abby, Ellen**, )—wrong format, turning in late, etc.
  2. PPT (Stefan, Claire).
  3. Jeopardy review game.
  4. Practice writing problems.  (the remaining questions are: I can speak Chinese or other languages.  Let’s go and do something, I attend # grade and someone is in the same class with me, I would like to eat/drink something, and someone can cook/make Chinese or other ethnic dishes).

 

Procedure for HS 2P (6/6/11)

 

Objectives: 1) Students will be able to showcase their oral proficiency 2) Students will be able to showcase their mastery of Chinese III curriculum.  2) Students will be able to practice

  1. 1) Return papers (test, characters).  2) Makeup work—oral exam (Alex, Cecilia, Ben, Josiah).  3) Extra credit work (Josiah, Cecilia, Alex).  4) Return your book tomorrow.

Procedure for HS 9P (6/6/11)

 

Objectives: Students will be able to practice writing for semester exam tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Return papers (WB, test, etc).  2) Makeup work (Michaela, Wyatt: WB page 70).  3) Return your book on Thursday.
  2. Writing problems.
  3. Jeopardy review game.

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P (6/6/11)

 

Objectives: 1) Students will be able to introduce themselves in Chinese.  2) Students will be able to play games to review body part terms.

Homework: Practice your oral presentation speech, if you are not done with it today.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Return papers (quiz, art projects).  2) Makeup work (Nick, Grace, Rachel L., Emilia).  3) Mr. Fisher will cover Ms. Chang tomorrow.
  2. 1) Quick review.  2) Oral presentation.

 

Procedure for MS 5P (6/6/11)

 

Objectives: Students will be able to introduce themselves in a Chinese PPT.

Homework: 1) Practice sounding out your PPT if you have not done so.  2) Final reflection due tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Return papers (PPT, characters worksheet).  2) Missing textbook (Kyle, Karli).  3) Pass out your semester exam grade slip Makeup work (Keiichi).  4) Go over common mistakes (冰, 別).  5) High School principal Joe Mueller has asked that the 8th grade class come up to the HS for a little pep talk about next year and to pick up their summer reading book.  So at about 10:55, you will head over to the HS main entrance and meet in the lobby there from 11 to 11:15.  Right after you will eat lunch.  6) Extra credit work (Karli, Jubilee, Jacqueline, Megan G., )—either late or wrong format.  7) Missing PPT file (Anthony, Keiichi, Karli, Mike, Alex, etc).
  2. PPT presentation (Sam, Collin, etc).
