Procedures for 8/29/11

Procedure HS Chinese III/IV (8/29/11)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) 我会问问题—I can apply question words in daily conversation.  2) 我认识我的同学–I can know my classmates through an interview and a presentation.  3) 我学新的生字—I can use new vocabulary to describe weather. 

功课: 1) Know your classmates’ Chinese names.  2) Work on your pen pal letter.  Do not procrastinate!!  Due on 9/7/11.  3) Write new characters.  4) Complete definitions for vocabulary worksheet.        

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Turn in your dialogue with rubric.  2) Take one copy of class roster.  Go over each one’s Chinese name.  Game time: Friday, 9/2.  Practice starts from tomorrow.  Final two winners: homework pass!  3) Captains check school supplies.  Put your flash drive into a sandwich bag with your name on it.  Collect (jump drive and socks).
  2. Return and complete your interview activity (7 did not turn in).  It should have Chinese name, grade and three different verbs).  Collect.  Present today/tomorrow.
  3. Teach new vocabulary (名詞, 動/动詞, 形容詞, 雨, 雨天, 下雨, 雨衣/穿雨衣, 雨鞋/穿雨鞋, 雪, 雪花, 下雪, 下雪天, 雪人, 晴, 晴天).

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (8/29/11)

Objectives: 1) I can say simple greeting terms.  2) I can acquire general information aboutChina.

Homework:  Review learned greeting terms.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Turn in your signature slip if you have not done so (3P: Bradley; 5P: Chris).  2) Missing assignment??  3) Mariah & Courtney (3P) & Aaron (5P), please stay after school to talk to Ms. Chang.  4) Treat time!!
  2. 1) Quick check (basic greeting terms. 2) Teach new greeting terms.
  3. Finish interview activity.  Present.
  4. Pass outChinareading packet.

Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (8/29/11)

Objectives: 1) I can say simple greeting terms.  2) I can acquire general information aboutChina.

Homework: Review learned greeting terms.

Procedure:

  1. (2P) Check accuracy of your e-mail address.  Initial right next to the e-mail address if it is correct, fix it if it is incorrect.  (2P/7P) School e-mail address preferred, please.  Please talk to Mrs. Hubert about this.
  2. Pass back and (7P) share result from the Student Inventory.  Collect for Open House.
  3. 1) Captains check school supplies.  2) Turn in your signature slip, Student Inventory and note from your parent, if you have not done so.  3) If you cannot see from back side, MOVE to front part!  4) Treat time!!
  4. 1) Quick check (basic greeting terms).  2) Teach new greeting terms.
  5. Finish interview activity.  Present.
  6. Pass outChinareading packet.
