Procedures for 9/1/11

Procedure HS Chinese III (9/1/11)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) 我會問問題.  2) 我會形容天氣.

功课: 1) Audio file (#).  2) 6-sentence dialogue.  (可以…, ….怎麼樣, 怎麼 (verb), < date >, <weather >, < time >.  Due next Tuesday, 9/6.

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Check ProgressBook for accuracy (school supplies, signature slip, interview/presentation, 2) Missing school supplies (??). 3) Pen pal letter (2 paragraphs, 10-14 sentences about your summer, school life, vacation, weather in Brecksville/Ohio, etc).  4) Show a book cover for your new textbook.  Sign your name on the inside front cover and on the Inventory sheet.
  2. 1) Dictation.  2) Read text page 105 as a class.
  3. Go over commonly used phrases.  Pair work.

 

Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (9/1/11)

Objectives: 1) I can say simple greeting terms.  2) I can write simple Chinese picture characters.

Homework: Review learned terms.

Procedure:

1.   1) Turn in your China reading packet.  2) Special reward: Homework pass.  3) Book cover for your textbook, please.  Sign your name on the Inventory sheet and inside front cover of your textbook, please.  4) Examine/get familiar with our textbook structure.

2.   1) Quick review.  2) Teach new terms.

3.   (7P) DVD: General information about China.

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (9/1/11)

Objectives: 1) I can say simple greeting terms.  2) I can write simple Chinese picture characters.

Homework: 1) Review learned terms.  2) Complete one row of characters writing assignment.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Turn in your China reading packet.  2) Quick review.  3) Teach new terms.
  2. Pass out/explain culture reading packet + square paper.
  3. 1) Read culture packet (page 3).  2) Teach new character (sun).
