Procedures for 9/8/11

Procedure for HS Chinese IV (9/8/11)

 目标 (MùBiāo): 我會說首飾 (jewelry) 的名稱.  2) 我會用比較式.

功课: 1) 寫生字.  2) Read text passage on page 63.  3) Audio files #1171 & 1067.  Listening comprehension quiz on Monday, 9/12/11.

程序(ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Take one set of I Can Statements.  Turn in your 6-term dialogue.  2) Go over 比and 比較with examples.
  2. Teach new characters with terms (項/项, 鏈/链, 環/环, 鐲/镯, 玉, 項鏈, 手鐲, 耳環, 好看, 送, 從/从..到, 你看, 還(verb)).

Procedure for HS Chinese III (9/8/11)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) 我會/会形容天氣/气. 2) 我會問和回答問題/我会问和回答问题.

功课: 1) Listening comprehension on Monday, 9/12.  Audio files #1171 & 1067.  2) 6-term dialogue due tomorrow.  3) Dictation of 5 characters tomorrow.

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Take one copy of Free Download instruction sheet.  2) Turn in your goals for Chinese III this year and signature slip (On-line translator use).  3) Return jump drive, pen pal letter and 6-term dialogue drafts.  Perform your 6-term dialogue next Monday and/or Tuesday.  Need to extend due date for your pen pal letter?  4) Homework pass to the students whose parent(s) attended open house last night.  5) Go over free download procedure.
  2. 1) Round robin reading: page 105.  2) Whole class activity: conversation practice.  => Final goal: hold and maintain one-minute conversation.    Will have an oral test!!  3) Dictation.
  3. Questions on your drafts??  Seat work.

 

Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (9/8/11)

Objectives: I can say numbers in Chinese.

Homework: 1) Complete characters writing assignment.  2) Review greeting terms and numbers (1-5).

Procedure:

  1. 1) Captains check WB page H/W assignment.  Go over the answer key.  2) Pair activity: quiz each other.  3) Quiz #1 (greeting terms) tomorrow.  Quiz #2 (numbers + 8 characters): Friday, 9/16.  4) Collect your 8 Chinese characters writing assignment.
  2. Teach new terms (yi, er, san, si, wu) and Chinese characters.

 Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (9/8/11)

  1. 1) Quiz #1 tomorrow.  Quiz #2 (numbers + 8 Chinese characters): Friday, 9/16/11.  2) Pair activity: quiz each other.  3) Collect your 8 Chinese characters writing assignment.
