Procedures for 9/9/11

Procedure HS Chinese III (9/9/11)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) 我会形容天气. 2)我听得懂会话.

功课: 1) Perform your dialogue.  2) Listening comprehension quiz (file numbers: 1144, 1121, 1171, 1067, 249, 801, 844, 919, 1010, 1113).

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Turn in your signature slip (On-line translator use policy) and 6-term dialogue final work.  Makeup work (Goals for this year)?  2) Dictation (5 characters).
  2. Teach new terms (季, 但, 每, 又.. 又, 常, 但是, 常常, 時常, 不常, 平常).
  3. 1) Read text passages on page 106.  Round robin reading: Tuesday, 9/13.  2) Make two sentences with “到” (preposition usage).

 
Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (9/9/11)

Objectives: 1) I can say numbers in Chinese.  2) I can produce longevity paper cut pattern.

Homework: 1) Review learned terms.  2) Complete characters writing assignment.  3) WB page 4.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (greeting terms).  2) Quiz #1.
  2. 1) Quick review (numbers).  2) Makeup work?  Character writing assignment, WB page 1?  3) Teach numbers (liu, qi, ba) and characters.
  3. DVD: Chinese Civilization and Arts (Paper cut).
  4. Pass out/go over paper cutting patterns (longevity).  Seat work.

 Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (9/9/11)

Objectives: 1) I can say numbers in Chinese.  2) I can produce double happiness paper cut pattern.

Homework:  1) Review learned terms.  2) Complete characters writing assignment.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (greeting terms.  2) Quiz #1.
  2. 1) Quick review (numbers).  2) Makeup work?  Character writing assignment?  3) Teach numbers (liu, qi, ba) and characters.
