Procedure for HS Chinese IV (9/16/11)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) 我會/会邀請朋友參加生日會/会.  2) 我會/会寫/写謝卡, 接受或婉謝邀請.

功课: 1) Read text pages 70 about new sentence patterns.  2) Audio file #579 (553 + 559 + 563 + 569 + 573).

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Turn in your WB pages 50/54.  2) Turn in your invitation card draft.  3) Read text passages on pages 64-65.  3) Vocabulary quiz: pages 62-65: Wednesday, 9/21.
  2. 2.      Teach new characters with terms (禮/礼, 禮/礼物, 小說, 已經/经, 聽/听說, 光, 碟, 光碟, 碟子, 算, 算數/数, 麻, 煩, 麻煩, 麻子).

Procedure for HS Chinese III (9/16/11)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) I can understand Chinese conversation.  2) I can acquire knowledge about Shanghai World Expo.

功课: 1) Audio file #579 (553 + 559 + 563 + 569 + 573).  2) 3rd skit draft due: Monday, 9/19.

程序 (ChéngXù):

1.   1) Turn in your pen pal letters (2 copies + checklist).  2) Vocabulary quiz: Friday, 9/23.

  1. 1) Listening activity: WB page 75.  Go over the answer key.  2) Go over text pages 109-110.  3) Work in media center next Monday, 9/19/11.  No school on Tuesday, 9/20/11.

Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (9/16/11)

Objectives: 1) I can master sounds, meanings, and characters for numbers 0-100 and 8 picture Chinese characters.  2) I can blend and discriminate vowels and b/p/m/f consonants combinations.

Homework: 1) Tone quiz next Monday.  2) Review b, p, m, f handout.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (8 characters + numbers)??  2) Quiz #2.  3) No school on next Tuesday, 9/20/11.
  2. 1) Dictation (b).  2) Teach b, p, m, f handout (p only today).
  3. Game time (numbers + characters).

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (9/16/11)

Objectives: 1) I can master sounds, meanings, and characters for numbers 0-100 and 8 picture Chinese characters. 2) I can identify many Chinese characters in newspaper.  3) I can talk about myself and my family in Chinese.

Homework: Review family member terms.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (8 characters + numbers).  2) Turn in your dot-to-dot activity sheet.  3) Quiz #2.  3) Quick review (baba, mama, gege, didi, jiejie, meimei).  4) Teach new term (sui).
  2. 1) Pass out/go over the Supplementary term handout.  2) Write sentences #1-2.
  3. Newspaper activity: hunting for learned characters.
