Procedure for HS Chinese III (9/23/11)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) I can express weather condition in Chinese.  2) I can answer questions of familiar topics.

功课: 1) Audio file #718 (697 + 702 + 705 + 710 + 713).  2) WB page 76.

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Turn in your skit final version.  Skit #3 performance: Tuesday, 9/27 and Wednesday, 9/28. 2) Lesson Nine vocabulary quiz and Ni Hao 2 Lessons 1-3 character quiz.
  2. Conversation Questions.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (9/23/11)

Objectives: 1) I can tell the difference among consonants d, t, n, and l.  2) I can read and solve math equation in Chinese.  3) I can gain knowledge about a famous historical site in China.

Homework: 1) Write new characters.  Know their meaning and pronunciation.  2) Review d, t, n, handout.

Procedure:

1.   1) Turn in your 10 sentences about Mid-Autumn Festival.  Quiz #5 (d, t, n, l): Friday, 9/30.  2) Quiz #4.

  1. 1) Teach d, t, n, l handout.  2) Teach new characters with terms (除, 等, 於, 除以, 等於/于).
  2. Video: Let’s Visit Huang Shan.

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (9/23/11)

Objectives: 1) I can type Chinese pinyin with an on-line tool.  2) I can use different terms to address siblings.

Homework: Finalize your choice of theme and medium for your art project.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quiz #3.  2) 3P: Collect your 5 sentences.  3) Complete and check your two origami products for participation grades.  4) Quiz #4: Friday, 9/30/11.
  2. Cultural reading: Chinese family.
  3. 1) Showcase art projects (PPT, movies, craft, baking, singing, etc).  2) Introduce a website to type Chinese pinyin.
